The Role
Reporting to the Administration Supervisor, you’ll manage customer accounts and help ensure invoices are paid on time. You’ll be the go-to person for customer account queries, working closely with both internal teams and clients to resolve billing issues and maintain positive relationships.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing a portfolio of customer accounts
- Following up outstanding invoices and overdue payments
- Setting up and managing payment plans
- Responding to customer account and billing enquiries
- Resolving payment discrepancies and billing issues
- Maintaining an accurate accounts receivable ledger
- Reconciling accounts and preparing aged debtor reports
- Monitoring and responding to a shared Operations/Collections inbox
- Supporting the team with general administration and ad-hoc tasks
About You 👤
We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and confident communicating with customers. You’ll likely have:
- Experience in accounts receivable, credit control or debt collection (ideally in a high-volume setting)
- Confidence with communicating to customers about payments and account queries
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- A team first attitude & enjoy working in a collaborative environment
- Proven experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and accounting systems
