Description

WA Blue Sky is seeking an experienced Chief Corporate Services Officer to join our Strategic Leadership Team and support the organisation’s continued growth, sustainability and impact.

This is a senior leadership role is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of WA Blue Sky’s corporate services portfolio, ensuring strong financial stewardship, effective governance, commercial discipline and long‑term organisational sustainability.

About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Corporate Services Officer provides executive‑level leadership across:

  • Finance, accounting and payroll compliance
  • Commercial management and service viability
  • Property, fleet, insurance and asset governance
  • Budgeting, forecasting and financial performance
  • Governance, risk, audit readiness and Board reporting

The role leads the corporate services team (Commercial Manager and Assistant Accountant) and works closely with the Leadership team and Board to provide clear financial insight, disciplined oversight and assurance, in an environment where collaboration, openness and sound judgement are valued. In addition, this role will be pivotal in driving the 2025 to 2028 strategic objectives. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational oversight of finance, reporting and payroll compliance.
  • Lead budget development, forecasting, cashflow management and financial performance monitoring.
  • Deliver accurate, timely and high‑quality reports to the Leadership and Board.
  • Oversee commercial frameworks, pricing and service viability.
  • Provide oversight of property, assets, fleet and insurance portfolios.
  • Ensure strong governance, risk management, audit readiness and compliance with statutory, regulatory and funding obligations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in systems, controls and reporting.

About You

You are a senior finance and corporate services leader with strong commercial acumen and a collaborative leadership style. You are comfortable operating at Leadership and Board level, bringing clear analysis, sound judgement and a solutions‑focused approach.

What We Are Looking For

  • Accounting or Business-related qualification in addition to CPA or CA accreditation or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years senior experience leading finance and corporate services functions.
  • Strong capability in budgeting, forecasting, reporting and governance.
  • Experience overseeing commercial, asset and risk portfolios.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex information into clear advice.
  • Values‑aligned approach to leadership and decision‑making.

Experience in complex human services environments or not‑for‑profit sector is desirable.
