Join our vibrant long daycare centre as a Trainee Introductory Educator and gain hands-on experience while we support you to complete your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. This position is designed for candidates who are new to the industry and do not already hold a Certificate III, Diploma, or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone eager to learn, grow, and make a real difference in children’s lives. As a Trainee Introductory Educator, you will be an active and valued team member supporting the delivery of quality education and care to children. Building meaningful relationships with the children and partnerships with the families. Working alongside experienced educators to guide and help you on your journey and understanding best practices to our already great long daycare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support educators in delivering engaging learning experiences
  • Assist in daily routines and care of children
  • Follow guidance from senior educators and leaders
  • Work in line with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
  • Uphold workplace health & safety, privacy, and confidentiality
  • Contribute positively to a team-focused culture
  • Show initiative, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn

About you:

  • Passionate about working with children
  • Willingness to undertake a Certification III in Early Childhood Education & Care and begin an amazing career
  • Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
  • Great communication and organisational skills and can-do attitude
  • Reliable, positive, and a great team player
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Flexible availability required between 6:30am–6:30pm – Monday to Friday
  • This position is designed for candidates who are new to the industry and

    do not already hold a Certificate III, Diploma, or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care. Applicants with existing childcare qualifications may not be considered for this trainee opportunity.
