We are seeking an experienced Workshop Co-ordinator, preferably with a background in the Bus, or Heavy Vehicle Industry. This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining confidence in both brand and product; therefore, strategies need to be in place to ensure customers’ needs are met and attended to and staff are sufficiently trained. Also, ensuring that the workshop operates productively, maintaining compliance with local laws, regulations, and safety standards.
This is a hands-on role, reporting directly to our Workshop Manager in Craigieburn.
Key Accountabilities are but not limited to –
• Liaise with Service and Parts departments to coordinate vehicle delivery, repairs, and warranty work.
• Check-in vehicles for damage or defects and prepare new vehicles per Customer specifications.
• Conduct and oversee warranty repairs following Factory procedures and company policy.
• Supervise, mentor, and manage workshop staff to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
• Supervise customer service operations, ensuring high standards and client satisfaction.
• Assist in optimizing support and service processes, tools, and systems.
• Carry out day-to-day mechanical duties and vehicle diagnostics.
• Ensure compliance with all company and legal policies and strive to meet KPIs.
Skills and experience –
• Heavy Vehicle Mechanic qualification
• Supervisory experience in Heavy Vehicle Workshop preferable
• HR licence required
