The Role

As a Senior HSEQ Advisor, you will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices on construction sites.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the employees, subcontractors, clients, and the public. Your expertise and guidance will be critical in promoting a culture of safety and minimizing the risk of accidents, injuries, and occupational hazards.

This full-time role will be position working across multiple sites in NSW.

Key Responsibilities

• Positively influence, and advise leaders and workers on HSEQ matters, requirements under legislation, and drive forward a strong safety culture.
• Maintain a sound knowledge of current legislation, policies and guidelines.
• Facilitate audits and assist with site toolbox talks.
• Lead allocated site visits, inspections, incident investigations.
• Review/update Plans, Risk Assessments, Safe Work Method Statements, procedures, and other documents as required in conjunction with other stakeholders.
• Manage complex issues around worksite safety.
• Lead and develop the HSEQ team, providing guidance and knowledge.

To be considered for this role you must

• Hold a Cert IV in OH&S or a safety diploma.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role
• Have strong experience working in the Civil Construction industry.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
