The Role:
The ICT Support Specialist is responsible for maintaining IT systems, providing technical support, and resolving issues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Based in Tomago, role is key to supporting our users, maintaining system integrity, and improving overall efficiency within our systems.
In this role, you will:
- Provide first and second-line support to users, resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
- Monitor and manage IT systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Assist in the implementation of IT projects and upgrades.
- Document technical processes and user guides for reference.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to improve service delivery.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on new technologies and systems.
To be considered for this role:
- Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an IT support role, preferably in a similar environment.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices is an advantage.
- Due to the nature of the work and associated security obligations, Australian citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this role.
