  • Monitor service demand, capacity, and system performance using data insights
  • Prepare high-quality reports for Child Protection, ACCOs, Justice and key stakeholders
  • Support multi-agency collaboration to improve outcomes for families with complex needs
  • Identify and escalate system gaps, risks and barriers to service access
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and service system design

You will need to be confident working in a fast-paced environment, switching between tasks while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality and compliance.

About You

You are someone who thrives in complexity and brings:

  • Relevant qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Welfare or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in a relevant or similar role
  • Strong understanding of the Victorian child and family service system, including relevant policies and legislation
  • Knowledge of the Family Preservation and Reunification Response, the foundation of the Restoring Families model and an understanding of justice services (highly desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of local Child and Family Alliance partners, including funded family service providers, Aboriginal community-controlled organisations and child protection services
  • Proven capability in service coordination
  • The ability to prioritise competing demands and manage time-critical tasks with precision
  • High-level analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience interpreting data and identifying trends
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders and build strong, collaborative relationships across diverse service partners

Why Join UMFC?
