- Permanent part-time position (30 hours a week)

About the Role
We are seeking a Safeguarding Compliance Officer to join our People, Safety, Safeguarding and Risk team! This role is responsible for overseeing and strengthening Uplyft’s safeguarding governance framework by ensuring we comply with legislative and regulatory requirements and promoting a
culture of safety and accountability across all operations.
Working closely with our Safeguarding Manager, this role will have the opportunity to contribute towards reviewing our policies and procedures, supporting audits and reporting and overseeing the intake, documentation and escalation of safeguarding concerns or incidents.
This role is an exciting opportunity to support across our business contributing towards meaningful work that supports the health, wellbeing and resilience of children, young people and families within
the community.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have
- Demonstrated safeguarding knowledge particularly the National Principles of Child Safe Organisations and strategies to promote a Child Safeguarding Culture and Environment
- Strong understanding of safeguarding frameworks, legislation and best practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
