We’re looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our Unita Manufacturing team in Archerfield.
This isn’t production-line cabinetry. This is bespoke joinery crafted for high-end national fitouts – where quality, precision and pride in workmanship matter.
The role
Working from our Archerfield factory, you’ll be part of a skilled trade team building custom cabinetry and joinery for retail, hospitality, health and commercial projects across Australia.
You’ll be hands-on on the tools, working from detailed drawings and specifications to produce high-quality joinery that meets Unita’s standards for finish, safety and efficiency.
Hours: 5:00am – 1:30pm, Monday to Friday (with overtime available when required).
What you’ll be responsible for
- Manufacturing bespoke cabinetry and custom joinery to detailed plans
- Interpreting shop drawings and specifications accurately
- Maintaining high standards of quality and finish
- Working safely and contributing to a safety-first factory culture
- Managing your time effectively to meet production deadlines
- Supporting apprentices and contributing to a positive team environment
- Identifying buildability improvements and reducing rework or waste

- Safety procedures are followed without shortcuts
- Work areas are organised, efficient and well maintained

Experience we’re looking for
- Trade qualification in Cabinet Making / Joinery
- Experience producing bespoke or custom joinery
- Strong ability to read and interpret drawings
- Solid understanding of materials, hardware and joinery methods
- Current driver’s license (mandatory)
- Full working rights in Australia (mandatory)
