Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to understand business needs, objectives, and challenges
– Analyze existing business processes, workflows, systems, and documentation for potential areas of improvement or optimization
– Conduct thorough research on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and market trends related to IT systems analysis
– Gather requirements from key stakeholders by conducting interviews, workshops or surveys as necessary
– Develop detailed business requirements documentation including functional specifications for new projects or system enhancements
– Work closely with developers throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC) ensuring that deliverables meet specified requirements
– Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) by developing test plans/cases/scenarios/scripts; facilitate UAT sessions; manage defect tracking/resolution process
– Provide training sessions/demonstrations on new applications/system functionalities as required
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent experience.
– Proven experience as a Business Analyst within an IT environment.
– Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies.
– Proficiency in data modeling techniques/tools.
– Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is a plus.
– Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) is preferred but not mandatory.
