We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Legal Administration Assistant to join our Operations team. This is more than just an admin role – it’s a 12-month traineeship opportunity designed to give you real experience in a professional law firm while you study towards a Certificate III in Legal Services through TAFE.

What You’ll be doing

In this varied and important role, you’ll provide general support across the operations team and the legal teams. Duties include:

• General administrative and office support

• Covering reception during breaks or absences

• Assisting with basic IT support (training provided)

• Using office equipment to print, scan and copy documents

• Assisting legal teams with administrative tasks

• Learning legal processes and systems

• Filing correspondence and documentation

• Opening, closing and archiving files

• Booking training and accommodation for solicitors

• Monitoring and replenishing office supplies

• Managing outgoing mail

• Assisting with kitchen duties and office upkeep

What we’re looking for

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

• A current NSW Driver’s licence

• Strong organisation and time management skills

• A basic understanding of Microsoft Office 365 (eg. Outlook, Word, Excel)

• High attention to detail

• Initiative and a proactive approach to you work

• A positive, flexible, and team focused mindset
