Working with Sparkways in our sessional kindergartens
At Sparkways, we value the Co-educator (Cert III minimum) and Diploma minimum roles equally. There are some differences in role and responsibility. Unfortunately, due to funding, there is a small difference in the hourly rate. Most of our staff in Coeducator positions have Diploma or Degree level qualifications. Coeducator (Cert III minimum) X 2 – 26.25 hours per week
Diploma Break Cover – 3 x 3.25 hours per week – Mon, Wed & Fri -11:00 to 2.15
Fraser Rise – Plumpton Kindergarten
Coeducator (Cert III minimum) – 17.5 hours per week
Hillside – Parkwood Green Preschool
Coeducator (Cert III minimum) – 17.5 hours per week
Diploma Break Cover – Thu (12.00 to 2.00)
Thornhill Park Kindergarten
Coeducator (Diploma minimum) – 17.5 hours per week
Mambourin – Laa Yulta Kindergarten
Coeducator (Cert III minimum) – 17.5 hours per week
Diploma Break Cover – Tue (12.00 to 2.00)
Point Cook – Middleton Drive Kindergarten
Coeducator (Cert III minimum) – 8.75 hours per week
Diploma Break Cover – Thu (11.00 to 2.15)

Who we are looking for
- Experienced & qualified Early Childhood Educator – working with 3- and 4-year-old children, including those with additional needs.
- Skills to scaffold and document children’s learning in play-based, child-led pedagogy.
- Experience in writing observations and learning stories, and using StoryPark.
- Seeking part-time work with paid time off during term breaks.
- Able to contribute to a child-centered, friendly team and known for being positive and energetic.
- Interested in joining a community of passionate and like-minded ECEC professionals.
- Seeking career progression opportunities while working close to the local community.
