About the role
Cert III & Diploma Educator
- We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Educator to join our team on a part-time permanent basis across multiple locations as follows:
- The rostered working days are Tuesday and Thursday, from 8:30 am to 4:45 pm, with an additional 2 hours allocated for planning on another day
- The position is covered under VECTEA terms and conditions; Diploma hourly rate – $29.41 & Cert III hourly rate – $26 – $27.87
- Paid time off is provided during term breaks on a pro rata basis
Point cook (Middleton Drive Kindergarten)
- Diploma Educator (Permanent Part-Time) – Tue & Fri – 8.45 am to 5.00 pm plus 2 hours planning – 17.5 hours per week
- Cert III Educator (Max term) – Tue & Fri – 8.45 am to 5.00 pm plus 2 hours planning – 17.5 hours per week
Hill Side (Bellevue Hill Preschool)
- Cert III Educator (Permanent Part-Time) – Mon – 8.15 am to 4.30 pm plus 1 hour planning – 8.75 hours per week
Melton (Kingsway Preschool)
- Cert III Educator (Permanent Part-Time) – Mon – 8.15 am to 4.30 pm plus 1 hour planning – 8.75 hours per week
Melton (Melton West Preschool)
- Cert III Educator (Max Term) – Mon, Tue & Fri – 8.30 am to 4.00 pm
Diggers Rest (Diggers Rest Preschool)
- Cert III Educator (Permanent Part-Time) – Tue, Wed & Fri – 8.30 am to 4.45 pm plus 3 hours planning – 26.25 hours per week
Increase hours
- You can ask about joining our relief team on your days off to increase your hours and pay

Who we are looking for
- Experienced & qualified Early Childhood Educator – working with 3- and 4-year-old children, including those with additional needs.
- Skills to scaffold and document children’s learning in play-based, child-led pedagogy.
- Experience in writing observations and learning stories, and using StoryPark.
- Seeking part-time work with paid time off during term breaks.
- Able to contribute to a child-centered, friendly team and known for being positive and energetic.
- Interested in joining a community of passionate and like-minded ECEC professionals.
- Seeking career progression opportunities while working close to the local community.
