About the role
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Diploma-qualified Educators — or those actively working towards their Diploma — to join our passionate kindergarten team! You can either start now as a casual or ‘Permanent part-time’ from 27 Jan 2026.
Break Cover shifts are short sessions that take place in the middle of the day, offering you an excellent opportunity to:
- Build your sessional kinder experience
- Ease back into work
- Combine with your ECT studies
- ..or combine with your OSHC shift
Available Positions:
📍 Hillside – 3.25 hours per day
Mondays | 10:45 am – 2:00 pm
📍 Melton West – 3.25 hours per day
Monday | 10:45 am – 2:00 pm
📍 Laurimar – 2 hours per day
Monday | 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm
📍 Eynesbury – 2/ 3.25 hours per day
Mondays | 11:00 am – 2:15 pm; Fridays | 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm;
📍 Beveridge – 3.25 hours per day
Tuesday & Thursday | 11:00 am – 2:15 pm
Who we are looking for
- Diploma qualified educator with positive, energetic, and enthusiastic in their approach
- Demonstrate initiative and contribute to a child-centred, friendly team environment
- Have the ability to interact positively with children and supervise the environment carefully
- Show a genuine commitment to supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
- Value being part of a community of passionate, like-minded ECEC professionals
- Seek career progression opportunities while working close to their community
