The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Electronics Products to lead manufacturing engineering activities across Tritium’s electronics product portfolio. In this role, you will ensure our designs are manufacturable, scalable, and cost-effective across both internal manufacturing and external contract manufacturers. You will play a critical role in New Product Introduction (NPI), production ramp-up, and continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role based in our Brisbane office, working closely with Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and global supplier partners.
What you’ll do
- Lead NPI and production ramp of electronics products across internal and contract manufacturers
- Drive DFM/DFT outcomes in collaboration with design teams
- Develop and optimise manufacturing processes, test strategies, and quality controls
- Support production readiness, PPAP, and supplier qualification
- Drive yield improvement, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline
- 6+ years’ experience in manufacturing engineering for electronics products
- Proven experience with NPI, production readiness, and working with EMS/contract manufacturers
- Strong knowledge of DFM, DFT, process validation, and quality tools
- Experience working with PLM/ERP systems and managing configuration control
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
