Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll operate across the full stack to design and deliver scalable, accessible, and well-structured features within a cross-functional team. Acting as the technical anchor for your squad, you’ll take ownership of complex challenges and drive features end-to-end – from initial design through to production.
You’ll help lift engineering standards through thoughtful code reviews, strong testing practices, and clear documentation, while also supporting and mentoring junior engineers through collaboration and day-to-day guidance. In addition, you’ll contribute to shaping how cloud-native technologies, AI-driven insights, and intuitive user interfaces come together to enable better decision-making and enhance care delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex, full-stack features – from design through to production and support
- Write clean, well-tested code and set the standard for quality across the team
- Break down problems, propose practical solutions, and keep delivery on track
- Lead code reviews and champion strong testing, performance, and accessibility practices
- Act as the technical anchor within the squad, contributing to architecture and key design decisions
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate closely with Product, UX, QA, and Delivery
- Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement, including the use of AI tools and better ways of working
What You’ll Bring
- Strong experience in frontend or full-stack development
- Solid understanding of REST API integration and modern testing frameworks
- Comfortable working with Git and Agile delivery environments
- Experience building responsive, accessible, and high-performing user interfaces
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex challenges
- Collaborative mindset, working effectively across teams and stakeholders
- Ability to balance speed with quality, scalability, and maintainability
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
