Production Supervisor – Filling

The role
TrendPac is an Australian owned manufacturer of personal care and household liquid products, supplying major national retailers from our Berkeley Vale site.

We are seeking a Production Hall Supervisor – Filling to take full ownership of line performance, people leadership, safety and quality across the production hall.
This role is accountable for how the lines run, how people perform, and how consistently safety and quality standards are applied. It is a leadership role with clear ownership of outcomes, not a coordination or task allocation role.
You will report to the Production Manager – Filling.
Key accountabilities
Line performance and delivery
- Own day-to-day production performance across the hall, including schedule adherence, output, downtime, waste and availability
- Lead shift execution and prioritisation to ensure production plans are delivered as intended
- Deploy labour effectively across production, changeovers, maintenance and cleaning
- Identify performance risks early and take action before targets are missed
- Drive disciplined operating rhythms and follow-through on actions
People leadership and capability
- Lead, coach and develop Line Owners and Operators in line with the RAISE values
- Set clear expectations for accountability, behaviour and standards
- Address performance issues early, directly and professionally
- Build capability through skills coverage, cross-training and coaching
- Create consistency in leadership approach across shifts
Safety leadership
- Lead a strong safety culture through visible leadership
- Take responsibility for maintaining a clean, safe and controlled production environment
- Act immediately on hazards, near misses and unsafe behaviour
- Support investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained
Quality and GMP discipline
- Ensure production output meets quality, GMP and customer requirements
- Own execution of changeovers, line clearances and documentation
- Escalate and track quality issues through to resolution with Quality
- Reinforce right-first-time execution and adherence to standard work
Standards and continuous improvement
- Develop, apply and enforce standards of work across the production hall
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Act as gatekeeper for line trials and changes including NPD, CRF and CI activity
- Partner with Maintenance and Engineering to address recurring issues
What we are looking for
- Proven experience supervising manufacturing teams in a high-output environment
- Strong floor leadership with confidence to set standards and hold people accountable
- Demonstrated experience driving production performance and discipline
- Sound understanding of safety and quality requirements in a regulated environment
- Leadership style aligned to Respect, Integrity and accountability
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Experience in FMCG, liquids, packaging, chemicals or similar manufacturing environments is highly regarded.
