About the Team
As part of the Customer and Product group, you’ll work within a collaborative delivery environment alongside technical leads, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
The team is responsible for delivering customer-facing projects that support the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing success of Transmax solutions. Working closely with internal stakeholders and customers, the team ensures projects are delivered efficiently, aligned to governance frameworks, and focused on strong customer outcomes.
About the Role
We’re seeking a Project Manager for a 12‑month maximum term position to lead the delivery of
software and services projects. The role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with customer expectations. You’ll work closely with customers and internal technical teams to plan and manage delivery, coordinate resources, and oversee risks and issues across the full project lifecycle.
This role plays a key part in maintaining strong customer relationships, supporting governance processes, and ensuring accurate project tracking, reporting, and financial oversight. It is well suited to someone who can operate with a high degree of autonomy while appropriately escalating complex risks and commercial matters.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, documentation, and risk registers.
- Manage project risks, issues, and resourcing to ensure successful delivery.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to support delivery and alignment to release cycles.
- Track project progress and financial performance, providing accurate reporting.
- Contribute to governance processes, including status reporting and review forums.
- Facilitate customer meetings, reporting, and ongoing engagement.
- Ensure customer queries and issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
- Identify opportunities to enhance customer outcomes and support business development.
- Support continuous improvement of processes, tools, and delivery practices.
- Ensure effective resource utilisation, including timesheet oversight where required.
What You’ll Bring
- 2+ years’ experience leading or supporting project teams, including IT or system‑delivery environments
- Proven capability in project resourcing, financial tracking, and status reporting
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and project management tool
- Experience delivering customer‑facing projects; exposure to PSA systems (e.g. Salesforce/Certinia) desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise across multiple deliverables
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach
Qualification
- Tertiary qualification in Project or Program Management (or equivalent experience)
