Visitor Information Centre Officer (Corryong)

  • $38.09 to $43.48 per hour + super
  • Part-time – 20 hours per week

In this role you’ll

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Visitor Centre (and two satellite Centres), ensuring a welcoming and informative visitor experience.
  • Coordinate and support staff and volunteers through rostering and ongoing development.
  • Participate in networking forums and maintain strong relationships with event and local operators.
  • Contribute to Council’s tourism and economic development initiatives through continuous improvement, planning and reporting.
  • Provide support to the Coordinator Economic Development and Tourism and Support the Tourism Communications Officer.

  • Ability to coordinate daily operations, follow procedures, manage priorities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to easily engage with visitors and businesses alike.
  • Strong experience leading and supporting a team to ensure positive services and outcomes.
  • Enhanced administrative skills, including recordkeeping, reporting and using modern technology.
