In this role you’ll
- Oversee the daily operations of the
Visitor Centre (and two satellite Centres), ensuring a welcoming and
informative visitor experience.
- Coordinate and support staff and
volunteers through rostering and ongoing development.
- Participate in networking forums and
maintain strong relationships with event and local operators.
- Contribute to Council’s tourism and
economic development initiatives through continuous improvement, planning and
reporting.
- Provide support to the Coordinator
Economic Development and Tourism and Support the Tourism Communications Officer.

to coordinate daily operations, follow procedures, manage priorities.
- Exceptional
interpersonal and communication skills to easily engage with visitors and
businesses alike.

experience leading and supporting a team to ensure positive services and
outcomes.
- Enhanced
administrative skills, including recordkeeping, reporting and using modern
technology.
