Nail Artist – Flatiron

JOB PURPOSE: 

As a Nail Artist at Townhouse, you play a pivotal role as the beating heart of our salon. Your primary purpose is to deliver exceptional nail services to clients, embodying Townhouse’s commitment to excellence. As the main entry point to Townhouse, your role involves performing a variety of treatments, showcasing your skills as a qualified Nail Artist. Your dedication to teamwork and passion for creating stunning nail art contribute to maintaining Townhouse’s reputation as a leader in the beauty industry. 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

NAIL SERVICES:

• Perform a range of nail treatments, including manicures, pedicures, gel applications, and nail enhancements, in adherence to Townhouse standards. 
• Stay current with industry trends and continuously enhance your skills to introduce innovative treatments. 
• Upsell additional services and retail products to clients as appropriate.

 CLIENT INTERATION:

• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail services. 
• Build and maintain a loyal client base through outstanding customer service and quality work.
• Provide a personalised and positive experience for each client, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.

 TEAM COLLABORATION:

• Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment by actively engaging in team activities. 
• Assist colleagues during peak hours to ensure smooth salon operations. 

QUALITY ASSURANCE:

• Adhere to Townhouse’s strict hygiene and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and safe work environment. 
• Ensure the highest quality in all nail services delivered to clients. 

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE:

• Possess in-depth knowledge of Townhouse’s product range and recommend products tailored to clients’ needs. 
• Stay informed about the latest trends in nail care and beauty products. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• New York full cosmetology or manicurist license.
• Prior experience as a Nail Artist or similar role.
• Strong understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards in a salon setting. 
• Ability to manage time effectively and handle a fast-paced salon environment. 
• Experience working in a reputable salon or spa with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
