The Opportunity
As a Human Resources Advisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in implementing our HR Strategy. Reporting to the Senior HR Advisor, you’ll support our team to deliver solutions that attract, retain, and develop our people while ensuring an inclusive and engaging workplace.
Due to an internal promotion and continued organisational growth, we are growing our HR Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to provide advice and operational support on all aspects of HR, including performance, recruitment, injury management, employee development, and engagement.
- Work with the Senior HR Advisor to develop and implement key HR initiatives in employee wellbeing, cultural transformation and our brand new HR Information System.
- Deliver talent acquisition strategies to future-proof our organisation.
- Act as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships with staff at all levels.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, policies, and best practices.
- Champion continuous improvement, bringing innovative ideas to enhance our culture and employee experience.
About You
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- Proven experience in a HR or People and Culture role.
- Experience managing employee and industrial relations matters and investigations, with up to date working knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation, recruitment, and workers’ compensation.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coach, influence and inspire.
- A strategic mindset with a passion for delivering practical, people-focused solutions.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace culture.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Psychology, Organisational Development, or a related field.
- Bonus points for industry related experience!
Compliance Requirements
- Current Blue Card (or willing to apply)
- Criminal history screening – prescribed notice yellow card (or willing to apply)
- Current Licensed Care Service (LCS)
- Current valid Queensland driver license (unrestricted)
