The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Property Agent to join our growing team on a permanent full-time basis, based at our office in Caboolture! The Property Agent will assist the Maintenance Manager in looking after a portfolio of 30+ properties.

The Property Agent will:

  • Conduct routine inspections and put together reports, identifying and escalating maintenance issues.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders (property owners and real estates) and internal stakeholders (management, leaderships, maintenance team) regarding maintenance of Thrive House properties.
  • Collaborate with maintenance staff to coordinate regular maintenance and repairs for residential care properties and ensure the residentials are well maintained.
  • Address property related inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Analyse entry condition reports against real estate documentation.
  • Oversee the timely processing of all billing related issues, and ensure accurate invoicing.
  • Oversee the certification and maintenance of all smoke alarms and property fixtures to meet Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards (WELS) certification standards.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all property owners and real estate agencies for property handover.

We’re Looking For: 

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar property (Commercial and/or Residential) or facilities management role.
  • Working knowledge of relevant Queensland legislation, including the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008, the Work Health and Safety Act 2011, the Fire and Emergency Services Act 1990, and other applicable legislation such as the Building Act 1975.
  • Experience working with financial software packages and Microsoft office suite.
  • Ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with a diverse range of people, including strong negotiation and facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relations, address stakeholder concerns, and resolve conflicts effectively.

  • You are eligible to work in Australia, and you hold a current QLD driver’s licence and are eligible to obtain an LCS check, blue card and yellow card.
