At Thirst Creative, we don’t just build websites, we bring bold digital ideas to life. We’re a full service creative agency based in Carlton, blending strategy, design, and technology to deliver meaningful digital experiences. Our process? Collaboration, curiosity, and making things better together.
We’re looking for someone who has combined experience as a UI/UX Designer with a technical skillset and is passionate about delivering high-quality, user focused digital experiences. You are a hybrid talent who can craft exceptional digital designs in Figma and seamlessly translate those concepts into functional, highly interactive web projects using Webflow. You champion best-practice UX, usability, and accessibility (WCAG AA), and take pride in maintaining a strong visual aesthetic across all your digital outputs. You’ll be proactive, adaptable, and love collaborating with producers, designers, and the wider agency team to achieve great commercial outcomes.
Our Values:
At Thirst Creative, we believe in more than just delivering great work — we live by our values, which guide how we operate, how we work with clients, and how we grow as a team. These values are deeply embedded in everything we do:
Critical Thinker
Be curious: Seek understanding through active listening and thoughtful questioning.
Be creative: Challenge conventions with courage and originality.
Communicate clearly: Communicate with purpose, simplicity and clarity.
Can-do Attitude
Be accountable: Take charge and see tasks through with full accountability.
Find solutions: Be resourceful and adaptable, no matter the challenge.
Be reliable: Deliver on time, every time, with quality you can trust.
No Ego
Be approachable: Create a welcoming space for ideas and input.
Support each other: Share knowledge to help everyone excel.
Back yourself: Trust your instincts and present your creative solutions with confidence.
Cultural Champ
Look after the people: Connect, inspire, volunteer.
Celebrate together: Recognise achievements, give kudos, and celebrate as a team.
Positive vibes: Have a laugh, smile, bring joy.
If you worked at Thirst Creative last week, you would have…
Jumped into Figma to design a high-fidelity, highly accessible user interface for a new client project, ensuring every element complied with WCAG AA standards. You would have then switched gears to build out a pixel-perfect, responsive website in Webflow, structuring a dynamic CMS collection so the client can easily manage their own content. You’d have sat in on a project kick-off meeting to provide technical insights, scoped out a web development quote for the Head of Digital, and shared a cool new AI design process you discovered with the rest of the team. You may have even volunteered to host our monthly MYO lunch, putting on a feast for the team to enjoy!
About you
You are a rare hybrid talent just as comfortable mapping out a seamless, accessible user journey in Figma as you are diving into Webflow to bring it to life. You’re curious by nature, always asking the “why” before figuring out the “how,” and you thrive on turning complex problems into elegant, pixel-perfect digital experiences.
You leave your ego at the door, preferring to collaborate closely with producers, designers, and the wider agency team to achieve the best commercial outcomes for our clients. With a keen eye for visual aesthetics and a deep commitment to best-practice UX, you take immense pride in the quality of your output.
Beyond your technical skills, you are proactive, highly organised, and comfortable working autonomously to meet project deadlines. You aren’t afraid to back your own creative instincts and confidently present your ideas. Most importantly, you bring positive vibes, a resourceful “can-do” attitude, and a hunger to continually upskill and explore new design tools and AI processes.
