ABOUT THE ROLE

An opportunity to gain valuable experience as an Allied Health Assistant. The role will be part time and hours your set hours will depend on your schedule. A minimum commitment of 3 hrs/week is expected. This role may see you assisting with some Admin related client tasks and AHA work.

Your key responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Invoicing & handling payments
    • Supporting others with General Administration duties such as responding to queries, forwarding communications to the relevant areas, filing, scanning, data entry and electronic document management
    • Liaising with clients regarding appointment changes; assisting with the sending out & managing of quotes & signed agreements for services
    • Assisting with the scheduling of appointments and meetings in clinician calendars
    • Assisting new and potential clients through responding to intake requests via phone, email or social media contacts, gaining an understanding of client needs, gathering relevant paperwork and information and booking appointments
    • Support Therapy Delivery – Assist therapists in planning, preparing, and implementing therapy programs tailored to individual client goals.
    • Documentation & Communication – Maintain accurate records of client involvement, liaise with therapists and stakeholders, and contribute to case notes and reports.

    ABOUT YOU

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Current 3rd year university student studying a Bachelor or Master’s degree in an Allied Health discipline preferably Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy.
    • Current Working with Children Blue Card or ability to obtain prior to commencement
    • Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or ability to obtain prior to commencement
    • Passionate about working with neurodivergent children and adults and/or people with a disability
    • Ability to consistently follow a structured therapy plan devised by a qualified Allied Health Professional
    • Commitment to joining TAG as and Allied Health Professional once graduated.
