As an Aged Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents during overnight hours. This temporary casual opportunity is essential in helping ensure the comfort, dignity, safety, and wellbeing of older people living in our care.
About the Role
Working night shift, you will support residents with:
- Personal care and activities of daily living
- Monitoring resident wellbeing and responding to care needs
- Maintaining a safe, calm, and supportive environment overnight

- Assisting the clinical team as required

Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health and wellbeing to the nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Assist with mobility and physical exercises as directed.
- Document care provided and any significant observations in client records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in aged care or a related field is preferred, including internships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification is advantageous.
