About the Role
We are seeking a Backup Disability Support Worker to provide a variety of supports for individuals with disabilities during the festive season, with ongoing opportunities. You’ll assist with Companionship, Personal care, Domestic assistance, Social and community participation and Transportation.
Our clients value fun, engaging, and bubbly support workers who empower them to achieve their NDIS goals.

• Strong documentation and reporting abilities
• A positive, interactive attitude that encourages and uplifts clients
• Initiative to advocate for clients and ensure quality care
• Flexibility and adaptability in challenging situations
• A knack for organizing and actioning daily tasks
• Reliability and the ability to work unsupervised
Desirable Skills & Experience:
• Prior experience in the care sector
• Knowledge of supporting individuals with behaviours of concern
• Personal or professional experience in disability support
• Manual handling and medication support (or willingness to train)

Requirements
To be considered, you’ll need:
• A current or willingness to obtain:
o NDIS VIC Worker Screening.
o CPR & First Aid Certificates.
o Working With Children’s Check.
• A driver’s license and access to your own vehicle.
