Description

The Dental Group is building something unique. From our headquarters at 2/151 Macquarie St in Sydney CBD, we operate three distinct dental brands under one roof:

  • The Sydney Implant Institute, one of Australia’s leading full arch rehabilitation clinics;
  • Dental Lounge, a premium cosmetic practice; and
  • Dental 99, an access-led practice serving a different but equally important part of the market.

Three brands. Three audiences. One team that knows how to run all of them.

We have grown to $25 million in annual turnover and we are not slowing down. Our clinical standards are non-negotiable, our team is tight, and the ambition behind this business is real. We are looking for leaders who want to be part of building something, not just maintaining it.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Practice Manager to lead the business, reporting directly to the CEO. You will manage six direct reports across clinical support and front-of-house, own the appointment book across all three brands, and ensure day-to-day operations consistently support patient experience and revenue targets.

You will be running the operational backbone of a multi-brand business with distinct patient audiences, clinical workflows, and conversion models.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the appointment book across all three brands, ensuring utilisation, clinical capacity, and revenue targets are met
  • Identify and resolve gaps in scheduling efficiency, patient flow, and treatment mix
  • Directly manage the head nurse and a customer service team of five
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures across a multi-brand environment
  • Manage supplier relationships, inventory, and practice costs to budget
  • Maintain patient experience standards across all three brands
  • Produce regular performance reporting for the CEO
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven experience managing a dental or healthcare practice at significant scale
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of managing book structure and meeting revenue targets
  • Direct people management experience across clinical and non-clinical roles
  • Operationally strong: process-driven, organised, and composed under pressure
  • Confident with practice management software (Dental4Web) and CRM platforms (HubsSpot)
  • Experience in implant, cosmetic, or high-value dental environments
  • Familiarity with AHPRA compliance requirements (desirable)

WHAT’S ON OFFER

  • Competitive remuneration commensurate with experience
  • Direct reporting line to the CEO
  • Real commercial scope across three growing brands
  • Macquarie Street location at the heart of Sydney CBD
