The Dental Group is seeking a friendly and motivated Receptionist/Treatment Coordinator to become an integral part of our vibrant teams at The Dental Lounge. This is a full-time position based in Double Bay, offering a fantastic opportunity to work in a pleasant environment focused on patient care. This role combines reception and treatment coordinator duties and will be paid an hourly salary + commission.

You will be the first point of contact for our patients, contributing to a positive dental experience in a busy, supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet and assist patients as they arrive, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Manage appointments and patient inquiries via phone and in-person.
  • Coordinate patient billing and insurance claims to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling.
  • Guide patients through treatment options, assisting with plan coordination and payment options
  • Personalise treatment plans, manage appointments, and oversee payments
  • Proactively rebook patients for treatments.
  • Handle correspondence, manage inventory, and keep the reception area organised.
  • Work collaboratively with dental professionals to optimise patient flow.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist role, preferably in a dental or healthcare setting.
  • Sales experience is preferred for this role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and handle high volumes of calls and visitors.
  • Basic knowledge of dental terminology and insurance processes is a plus.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and support.
