Female Support Worker – Rooty Hill

Summary:

The Co-Group are hiring a female support worker to assist our client in Rooty Hill, NSW. The client is a young female with mobility issues of the lower body, requiring support on Thursday’s from 4pm to 6:30pm. Suitable candidates are confident to assist with social support, i.e. assistance to improve social skills and maintain independence. Community access is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• Support clients in social and recreational activities to promote engagement and well-being.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in behaviour or health to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and organisational policies.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a support worker or in a similar role is preferred.
• NDISWC for paid work
• Working with Children Check NSW for paid work.
• A fully comprehensive insured vehicle
• Australian driver’s license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
