Female Support Worker (Mitchell Park SIL)

The Co-Group is seeking a female Support Worker for a SIL home in Mitchell Park, SA. This role will involve working across a 24/7 roster, and the successful candidate MUST be available for active overnight shifts. 

Requirements:

• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence & access to a comprehensive-insured car
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) for paid employment
• Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment
• Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
• Experienced with Complex Care (Disability)
• Excellent English verbal and written communication
• Must be willing to provide all aspects of support
• Preferred Stoma Care experience OR willing to learn 

What you’ll do: 

• Complete all tasks relevant to support work including anything from meal preparation to domestic assistance, community access and personal care
• Empower participants to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible
• Be a trusted and reliable point of contact for participants and their families
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation such as shift notes, progress notes, behaviour charts and incident reports.
• Follow company policies and procedures
