Female Support Worker | LGBTQIA+ Inclusive (Warrimoo)

Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Support Worker to join our team in Warrimoo, New South Wales. The successful candidate will require knowledge of the LGBTQIA+ community with a strong commitment to providing inclusive support.

• Location: Warrimoo
• Day Required: Tuesdays
• Hours: 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM
• Primary Focus: Transport and community access
• Potential for Additional Hours: Yes, subject to rapport and suitability
• Consistency and punctuality are essential

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, respectful, and inclusive support in alignment with the participant’s gender identity
• Use correct pronouns (they/them) at all times
• Transport the participant to a scheduled weekly activity and remain onsite (waiting in the car) for the duration
• Liaise with the parent/guardian regarding scheduling, transport arrangements, and relevant updates
• Encourage independence, confidence, and self‑expression
• Provide light domestic assistance and meal preparation as required

Requirements:

• Current Australian driver’s licence and access to comprehensive-inured car
• NDISWC
• WWCC for paid employment
• Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)
• Australian working rights
