Female Support Worker in Spearwood WA 6163 (Coastal South of Perth)

About The Role:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated female Support Workers to join our team. This role involves providing personalised support to NDIS participants in their homes and local communities, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and domestic tasks
• Support participants with community participation, including attending medical appointments (when needed), shopping, going to the bank, visiting the zoo or animal farm, etc
• Encourage independence and meaningful engagement in activities
• Follow individualised support plans and ensure participant safety at all times
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
• Communicate effectively with participants, families, and the wider care team.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in disability, aged care, or community support (preferred but not essential)
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Current First Aid & CPR certificate
• Reliable transport and valid driver’s licence
• Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy.
