Female Floater/On-Call Support Worker (Horningsea Park / Campbelltown)

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Female Floater/On-call Support Worker to join our team to work with clients around the Campbelltown area. This Casual position will involve providing flexible support to multiple participants with varying needs. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring they receive the care and assistance they require in a compassionate and respectful manner. Due to client preferences and support needs, we require a female for this position.

Horningsea Park shifts:

• Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12pm – 3pm.
• MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH INSULIN ADMINISTRATION AND MEASURING BLOOD GLUCOSE LEVELS.

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-call support to clients in various settings as required.
• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and household tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and support provided.
• Collaborate with other support workers and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and organisational policies.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote their well-being and independence.

About you:

• Previous experience with Disability support.

• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations (including minimum 2-hour shifts).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and consistent Support Worker who is willing to provide all types of support.

Requirements:

• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence + access to Comprehensive insured car
• NDIS Worker Check
• Working with Children Check (for paid employment)
• Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)
