Aged Care Support Workers – South Perth

Summary:

We are seeking dedicated Aged Care Support Workers to join our team in South Perth. This temporary, casual role is essential in providing compassionate support to elderly clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. As a vital part of our social care services, you will contribute to enhancing the quality of life for our clients in a respectful and dignified manner.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behaviour to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care tailored to individual client needs.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Access to a comprehensive insured car with 5 seats
• NDIS Module- Quality, Safety & You
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) for paid employment
• Blue Card (WWCC) for paid employment
• Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours using approved techniques
• MUST be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week on an ongoing basis with the following time frame: 8am to 5pm.
