About the team/About the role:
The People Experience Partner is a key role in the People & Culture (P&C) team, who works alongside, and in collaboration with the broader P&C team.
This is a true generalist role to support the business to deliver the People Plan. The role partners with the divisional leaders across the business to advise, influence and drive business outcomes through effective people strategies and practices, including but not limited to recruitment, WHS/Wellbeing, engagement, performance, learning and development.
The role works with leaders to influence, challenge, develop and deliver people plans, achieve divisional objectives, and support the delivery of organisation wide people strategies. The People Experience Partner will contribute to the people strategies and implement policies, programs and initiatives to build capability and culture to enable achievement of CCNSW’s strategic objective to be an inspirational place to volunteer and work.

Key responsibilities of the role:
- Deliver advice and support across the organisation by providing input into both strategic and operational people decisions and issues, using a consultative and collaborative approach as a trusted advisor.
- Coach and support leaders to build manager capability in a way that empowers managers to lead with confidence and self-sufficiency.
- Supporting our leaders, this role plays a key part in initiatives and processes at an organisational level including the Performance Planning and Development cycle, Remuneration, Benefits and Learning and Development to ensure a high-performing culture is embedded across CCNSW.
- Provide human resources expertise to support effective management of risk and compliance, including Award and legislative requirements, WHS, volunteering and return to work.
- Support the implementation of key change initiatives and projects across the relevant business areas, providing pragmatic advice and support for change management.
- Coach and develop team members, guiding them as appropriate to achieve a high performing, effective end to end experience team that is respected by our people and meets compliance and legislative requirements.
About you:
Essential:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management or relevant experience.
- Experienced HR generalist with proven business partnering skills, demonstrated knowledge and experience in the management of contemporary workforce issues & practices.
- Thorough working knowledge of employment relations legislation and demonstrated ability to interpret Awards and legislation.
- Well-developed negotiation and influencing skills, supported by robust commercial acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct research and analysis and apply where relevant e.g. creation of HR policies and procedures.
- Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and fit-for-purpose application.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying and developing HR initiatives and projects.
Desirable:
- Mercer CED Job Evaluation certification.
- Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI) accreditation
- HRIS and HR system skills, ideally Employment Hero, Culture Amp and Go1
