We’re Hiring: Site Senior Support Workers – SIL (2 roles available)

Location: Briar Hill

Employment Type: Part-time Shift Work Roster

Award Classification: SCHADS Level 3

Reports to: SIL Services Lead NORTH

  • Do you enjoy coordinating daily supports, supporting a team, and making a meaningful impact in participants’ lives?

The Bridge is seeking two Site Senior Support Workers to lead daily operations at two of our Supported Independent Living (SIL) sites, supporting participants and working alongside a team of staff. This role combines hands-on support with informal team leadership, documentation, and coordination responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations to ensure consistent, person-centered support
  • Provide informal supervision and guidance to support workers during shifts
  • Assist with rostering and respond to short-notice absences to maintain coverage
  • Deliver direct support aligned with participant goals and NDIS plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation, incident reports, and medication records
  • Promote a positive, inclusive team culture grounded in respect and accountability
  • Escalate risks and concerns to the SIL Services Lead and contribute to service reviews

About You:

  • Experience in disability support, ideally in SIL or residential settings
  • Strong understanding of person-centred practice and NDIS requirements
  • Confident communicator with solid documentation and time management skills
  • Ability to guide and support staff in a collaborative, respectful manner
  • Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services, or related field
  • Current First Aid, CPR, WWCC, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Driver’s Licence
  • Familiarity with participant management systems (e.g., SupportAbility, Folio)
