The Bridge is seeking two Site Senior Support Workers to lead daily operations at two of our Supported Independent Living (SIL) sites, supporting participants and working alongside a team of staff. This role combines hands-on support with informal team leadership, documentation, and coordination responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day operations to ensure consistent, person-centered support
- Provide informal supervision and guidance to support workers during shifts
- Assist with rostering and respond to short-notice absences to maintain coverage
- Deliver direct support aligned with participant goals and NDIS plans
- Maintain accurate documentation, incident reports, and medication records
- Promote a positive, inclusive team culture grounded in respect and accountability
- Escalate risks and concerns to the SIL Services Lead and contribute to service reviews
About You:
- Experience in disability support, ideally in SIL or residential settings
- Strong understanding of person-centred practice and NDIS requirements
- Confident communicator with solid documentation and time management skills
- Ability to guide and support staff in a collaborative, respectful manner
- Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services, or related field
- Current First Aid, CPR, WWCC, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Driver’s Licence
- Familiarity with participant management systems (e.g., SupportAbility, Folio)
