The Role

This role is offered as a short term contract role, of up to 15 months, to cover a period of Parental Leave.  Offered as a hybrid role, with flexibility to WFH, it’s a genuine blend of strategic advisory and hands-on execution. You’ll sit alongside the CEO and join the Leadership Team, shaping financial direction while keeping a tight grip on operations, governance and performance.

In a fast-paced, digitally-led global business, this role matters. You’ll influence how we grow, how we invest, and how we perform.

What You’ll Own

  • Strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and scenario modelling
  • Board and investor reporting, capital planning and financial presentations
  • Financial governance, compliance, statutory reporting and audit
  • Commercial insights; revenue, margins, cash flow and cost drivers
  • Month-end close, GL integrity, payroll, AP/AR and process improvement
  • Leadership and development of a high-performing Finance team

About You

You’re a commercially sharp finance leader; equally at home in the detail and in the boardroom. You bring credibility, calm and sound judgement, and you know how to translate numbers into decisions.

You’ll have:

  • Significant senior finance experience in a growth-stage or digital business
  • Strong technical accounting, compliance and modelling capability
  • Experience working with executive teams, boards and investors
  • CPA or CA qualification
  • A proven track record leading lean, high-performing teams
