The Australian Club is one of Australia’s most prestigious private clubs providing a food & beverage experience of the highest standard, to the members and their guests. The Club provides a relaxed environment away from the hectic pace of the CBD where members can enjoy the company of friends in the iconic setting. The Club offers 24-hour reception service to guests staying in the 19 suites and club rooms available. The Club provides food and beverage service via two a la carte dining rooms and function rooms for up to 200+ guests.
Reporting to the House Manager, we are seeking an individual who will relish the opportunity to develop their talents and passion for guest services on reception. If you are looking to join a team presenting high standard service with the goal of exceeding our member and their guest’s expectations, then this is the role for you.
Job Role success requirements include
• Work collaboratively and professionally within the F&B Service team and members of the Club
• Able to demonstrate consistent service capability during busy operational periods
• Demonstration of managing all reception tasks and guest service principles
• Experience in operational software (IE MS office) including room booking systems RMS preferable
• Operate in a manner that is safe for self and others at all times
• You will have demonstrated experience within a prestigious club or similar scale venue and have an understanding of what’s on in Melbourne.
• Working well within a team by being agile and flexible, with organizational, communication and problem solving skills
• Able to operate across a 7 day availability if required
