Healthcare Administrator – Remote

About the Role:

Are you an organised, communicative, and proactive professional looking for a dynamic role in the allied health sector? We are seeking a casual, part-time Administrator to join our Australian Allied Health Agency team, working remotely to support various community and facility-based allied health businesses.

Primary Purpose:

You’ll work as part of a team and be instrumental in schedule administration, liaising between internal and external parties, handling accounts receivable, and controlling documents. You will also serve as the first point of contact on our virtual reception system, ensuring efficient and professional communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Virtual Reception: Act as a key member of our virtual reception team, handling inbound calls, client queries, arranging appointments, and managing cancellations.
  • Schedule Administration: Create and amend schedules, confirm appointments, ensure complete paperwork and funding availability etc
  • Document Control: Accurately file and log client documentation, ensure reports adhere to formatting guidelines, and manage prompt distribution and filing.
  • Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for enquiries, monitor funding, coordinate with case managers and therapists, and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Accounts Receivable: Prepare and issue invoices, process claims, receipt payments, and minimise overdue accounts.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective time management and commitment to contracted client hours.
  • High ethical standards, integrity, sound judgment, empathy, and respect for others.
  • Proactive work approach and willingness to contribute to the success of AAHA and its clients.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must reside on the Gold Coast and be able to attend training in Gaven.
  • Must have a fast, wired internet connection (wireless connections not acceptable)
