The Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) has earned much recognition as a leading educator for the game development, 3D animation and visual FX industries with campuses in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide and Online.
AIE is looking for a part-time Games Producer Trainer that has worked in industry to come and join the team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Delivery and assessment of Graduate Diploma Management (Learning) program via face to face and/or online lectures, small group tutorials and one on one support
- Collaborative planning and development of curriculum and educational resource materials as required
- Monitoring of learner progress including coursework and assessment
- Essential Skills and Knowledge
- A passion for the games industry
- Demonstrated experience in business development, preferably in a games development and production environment or similar
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Keen enthusiasm to share knowledge and skills with others
- Strong sense of entrepreneurship
Desirable
- Experience leading or mentoring game development teams
- Formal qualification in a related area such as games development or business management
- TAE Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent
Please note:
- This is a 0.6 FTE position (3 days/week) with a 5-month probation period.
- Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
