The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Retail Manager to take ownership of a standalone store and lead match‑day merchandise operations. You’ll run the day‑to‑day retail operation, manage a small team, and help deliver great fan experiences on game days. This role suits someone with solid retail leadership experience who enjoys being hands-on, solving
problems and working around a live sport calendar.
What you’ll be doing
Running the day‑to‑day store operation focussing on customer service, team leadership, stock and visual merchandising.
- Owning store performance: sales, targets, presentation standards and cash/pos processes.
- Planning and delivering match‑day and off‑site retail activations, including setup, trading and pack‑down.
- Leading, rostering and developing a small team of casual staff across store and event operations.
- Working closely with the Senior Retail Manager to support campaigns, promotions and continuous improvement.
What we’re looking for
- Early to mid-level retail experience with at least 2IC or store‑supervisor responsibilities.
- Strong operational skills, you’re confident with POS (Lightspeed & BigCommerce preferred), stock management systems (NetSuite preferred) and working to sales targets.
- A proactive, solutions‑focused operator who can work independently and stay calm under pressure.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Finance or Economics (preferred)
