 The Opportunity:

Are you our next Graphic Designer? We are looking for our next designing superstar to join our Melbourne Merchandise team to help bring our apparel programs to life. Working predominantly within our Teamwear division, you will play a key role in developing artwork, garment concepts and production-ready files for community sporting clubs, as well as supporting retail merchandise programs and broader merchandise initiatives. This is a great opportunity for an emerging designer with an interest in sport, merchandise and apparel who wants to build commercial experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What you’ll be doing

  • Assist in the creation and preparation of artwork for teamwear, uniforms and other retail and merchandise programs across a range of product categories.
  • Support the design and layout of garment graphics, logos and apparel concepts, ensuring artwork is prepared in line with supplier and production requirements.
  • Prepare accurate artwork files, mock-ups and production-ready assets for internal review, client approvals and production workflows.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of 2D and 3D product visuals and garment renders to assist with range presentations and customer approvals.
  • Assist with updates, revisions and amendments to existing artwork, templates and supporting collateral.
  • Help coordinate artwork workflows across multiple projects and deadlines, maintaining organised file management and artwork libraries.
  • Liaise with Product, Sales and Operations teams to ensure artwork requirements, timelines and approvals are met.
  • Support production processes by preparing and checking artwork files and approvals in line with apparel decoration and print processes.

 What we’re looking for

  • Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or a related discipline (Certificate, Diploma or Degree), or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop, with the ability to prepare accurate artwork files, mock-ups and production-ready assets.
  • Exposure to graphic design within merchandise, apparel, uniforms or promotional products, and an understanding of apparel decoration and production methods such as screen printing, embroidery, sublimation and digital print.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interpret briefs, respond to feedback and work effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a genuine interest in merchandise, apparel and product-based design, with an eagerness to learn and develop within a commercial merchandise environment.
