Description

The Casual Events & Activations Coordinator is responsible for the on-site management, coordination, and delivery of events and branded activations. This role ensures all operational elements run smoothly, safely, and in alignment with client and organisational expectations.

Key Outputs:

  • Manage and oversee on-site event activations, ensuring timely setup, operation, and pack-down.
  • Act as the primary on-site contact for clients, suppliers, contractors, and event staff.
  • Coordinate event logistics including site layout, staffing, equipment placement, and run sheets.
  • Ensure all events comply with safety and operational standards.
  • Troubleshoot on-site issues and provide effective solutions to maintain event quality.
  • Monitor event performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records including incident reports, attendance logs, and equipment registers.
  • Represent the organisation professionally at all times.

Knowledge / Experience:

  • Previous experience in events, activations, hospitality, or related fields.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead small teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
  • Understanding of WHS compliance and safe work practices.

Certifications:

  • Relevant training or experience within the events or amusement sector
  • Current First Aid certificate.
  • Valid driver’s licence
