The Opportunity:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Account Executive to join our Melbourne Partnerships & Experience team within Wildcard. This entry-level, full-time ongoing role is perfect for someone early in their career who is passionate about sport and ready to dive into the exciting world of sports marketing and partnerships. You’ll be supporting the P&E team to deliver high-profile campaigns and experiences that connect fans with some of the most exciting, innovative brands and sporting events across Australia. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work across multiple accounts, support major activations and have the opportunity to be on-site at some of Australia’s top sporting events. If you’re a do-er who’s prepared to get your hands dirty, loves sport, and wants to build a career in the sports industry, this is the role for you.

You’ll:

  • Assist in the delivery of partnership and experiences activity including end-to-end campaign management and administrative tasks
  • Support the P&E team with day-to-day operational tasks across multiple client accounts
  • Assist in budget creation, run sheets, talent and staff briefs
  • Manage suppliers including booking projects, sourcing costs, and managing on-site
  • Support site management including bump-in and bump-out for events and activations
  • Merchandise sourcing and promotional; prize fulfillment including drafting T&Cs from template
  • Assist with venue outreach and necessary project research
  • Assist in the development of client documents including WIP documents, talent briefs, project timelines and campaign reporting
  • Liaise and assist with the coordination of Wildcard’s service areas including P&E, Events & Content and Creative
  • Input into the development of creative concepts, pitches and responses for client’s partnership leverage briefs

What we’re looking for

Calm under pressure with strong time management and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines

Skilled in Microsoft Office with clear written and verbal communication

Able to take direction/feedback and work autonomously

Builds rapport, trust and confidence with clients and colleagues

A people person with a strong work ethic, passion for sport and sponsorship, and eagerness to learn

Current Australian Driver’s Licence, with ability to obtain a Working with Children Check, National Police Check and First Aid Certificate
