As we develop ourselves further, we’re recruiting an experienced Payroll Officer to come on board to assist the Payroll team, bringing their skills and knowledge to ensure all payroll requirements are met.

About the Position

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, we offer a permanent, full-time opportunity for a Payroll Officer to come on board to prepare payroll processing, ensuring compliance with the ATO regulations

The Payroll Officer duties will include but not limited to:

• Processing fortnightly pay runs for all employees.

• Maintaining accurate employee records including updating personal details, salary, bank accounts and tax file numbers.

• Preparing payroll reports.

• Be a primary contact for employee inquires regarding pay, entitlements etc.

What You Will Bring to Terra Mining

• Proven experience as a Payroll Officer, preferably in the resources or manufacturing industry.

• Experience with Employment Hero payroll systems is desired

• Strong MS Excel experience

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Positive attitude to safety and teamwork.
