Established in 1976, Taldumande Youth Service is a leading not-for-profit supporting children and young people aged 10–24 across Sydney. We deliver programs across homelessness, family support and youth justice, helping young people move from crisis to stability and independence.

About the Role
You’ll be out building rapport with young people, coordinating supports, attending case conferences, working alongside Youth Workers, and helping young people set and achieve real goals.
You’ll:
- Conduct assessments and develop practical, goal-focused case plans
- Coordinate supports across housing, education, health and community services
- Advocate for young people in interagency forums
- Work collaboratively with families where appropriate
- Maintain clear, professional documentation
We’re looking for someone who brings empathy, energy and accountability to their work.
What We’re Looking For
- A Social Worker, Psychologist, or someone with relevant experience in youth or community services
- Someone with 1–3 years’ experience supporting young people in homelessness, community services, or residential care
- Confident engaging young people who may be guarded, have experienced trauma, or are disengaged
- Organised, emotionally intelligent, and resilient
Comfortable working independently while contributing to a tight‑knit team
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Working With Children Check
- National Police Check
- Current Full Driver’s Licence and have your own vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- Experience working with vulnerable young people
