Founded in 2017 and based in Gladstone, Sync Lift Engineering has grown into a trusted provider of engineering, maintenance, and construction services; across the Mining, Resources, Energy, Renewables, Infrastructure and Marine sectors as well as large-scale projects and shutdowns throughout Queensland.
Our team specialises in:
- Fabrication.
- Major and minor maintenance.
- Large-scale shutdowns and project delivery.
With a strong reputation for technical excellence, reliability, and innovative, practical solutions, we combine advanced systems with a highly skilled workforce to deliver real results from pit to port.
Position Overview
We’re seeking experienced and dedicated Boilermakers to join our team on major shutdowns at various mine sites in the region including Dawson Mine.
In this role, you’ll perform maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on a Drag Lines, Shovels and other major equipment essential to the mines operation.
This will include performing work such as:
- Structural repairs
- Crack repairs
- Grease line supports
- Wear plates
- Slew drives
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Boilermakers
- Previous shutdown & project experience.
- Standard 11
- Current Coal Board Medical
- Current Working at Heights, Confined Space, and Gas Test Atmospheres certifications (within two years).
- A strong commitment to safety and team culture.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Bonus Qualifications (Highly Regarded)
- HRWL tickets (LF, WP, DG, CB) — e.g. Forklift, EWP, Dogging, Rigging
- Telehandler ticket
- Overhead Gantry Crane ticket
