Our experience brings with it premium wharf cartage and container transport services, with a focus on providing customers with complete logistics solutions including warehousing, container pack/unpack, distribution, over-dimensional, heavy haulage, project logistics and Australia wide bulk haulage.
The Reach Stacker Operator – Afternoon Shift is responsible for the efficient handling and management of containers within the yard. This role involves the safe and effective operation of a Reach Stacker to load and unload trucks, maintain yard organisation, and contribute to the smooth running of our logistics operations.
This is a full-time permanent role with onsite training provided.
What you will be doing…
- Operating the Reach Stacker for the loading/unloading of trucks.
- Yard management and ensuring the efficient flow of containers.
- Reporting directly to the Heavy Park Supervisor.
- Flexibility to work on a roster with rotational Saturday work (if required).
- Completing tasks in a timely manner and working unsupervised when necessary.
Do you have…
- A current High Risk Work Forklift (LF) Licence.
- A current Reach Stacker (RS) Licence (desired but not essential).
- Experience in a similar role or at minimum moving empty containers in a container yard environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high container turnover.
- Willingness to learn and work well with others.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks.
Additional Information…
- Successful applicants will be required to complete a Fit to Work Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screening and Police Check.
- We will provide all relevant onsite training.
- Option to work additional hours and/ or weekends.
