We are seeking an experienced Pneumatic Isotainer
unloader to join our operations on a 2:1 roster based at Prominent Hill. This
role involves the safe and efficient loading, transport, and unloading of
cement using a Double and Triple Road train with Isotainers on Skel sets.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for operating Blower unit to unload Isotainer in line with all Site regulations and company safety standards, ensuring timely and professional delivery of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Pneumatic Blower unit to unload Cement Isotainers safely and efficiently
- Safely Transport Road train around site to unload cement at various locations
- Comply with all road laws, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), and company policies if required to
assist with Linehaul runs (12Hr days under BFM/AFM accreditation)
- Conduct pre-start checks and ensure the vehicle is maintained in good working condition
- Report faults or maintenance issues promptly
- Deliver a high level of customer service, responding to client queries professionally
- Work independently while managing delivery schedules effectively
Please note this is a predominantly Site Based Role
that may require occasional driving shifts dependant upon site requirements.
About You:
- Current MC (Multi-Combination) Licence with demonstrated experience
- Proven experience operating Pneumatic Tankers with Blower units
- Strong safety focus with a clean driving record and no major infringements
- Solid understanding of CoR, mass, and fatigue management requirements
- Current Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) accreditation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage responsibilities efficiently
Additional Information…
- Successful applicants will be required to complete a Fit to Work medical, drug and alcohol screening and police check and will be required to provide an AFTD driving medical.
- Applicants should have a sound knowledge of chain of responsibility and on road legal compliance and a willingness to work with GPS technology is required.
- Must be comfortable with being away overnight during the week (home on weekends).
