Summary:

The Linehaul Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of logistics and transportation processes within our organisation. Based in Port Adelaide, South Australia, this permanent full-time position is essential for coordinating linehaul activities, managing schedules, and maintaining effective communication with various stakeholders. The successful candidate will contribute to the efficiency and reliability of our transport services, ultimately enhancing customer satisfaction and operational performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage linehaul schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of transport activities and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and other departments to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of linehaul operations, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies related to transport logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Support the administration team with various clerical tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent qualification in logistics, administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within the transport or logistics industry.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using office software and transport management systems.
